Mayor’s Black Youth Liaison


 The Mayor's Black Youth Liaison Committee (MBYL) is a voice for Black youth in the City of Markham. It provides an open forum for youth to convey perspectives on issues and initiatives of particular importance to them. The Mayor's Black Youth Liaison Committee is a team of 8-12 students from diverse backgrounds who identify as Black and attend secondary school in the City of Markham.

Advisory Committee on Accessibility

The Markham Advisory Committee on Accessibility assists the Council in improving opportunities for persons with disabilities by promoting and implementing the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) in Markham.
